On The Road With Elements of Successful Organizations

I’ve had a lot of fun recently promoting our new book, Elements of Successful Organizations.  We’re selling books at a steady clip on Amazon, and have received great feedback from those who’ve read it.  By the way, don’t worry about the “out of stock” message on Amazon.  Stock is on its way to them.

I talked to Bryan Wempen and William Tincup a couple of weeks ago on  DriveThru HR.  You can hear that interview here.  Bryan and William host a daily radio show Monday through Friday, and I was pleased to be invited to share my perspectives not only about the book, but about my long term predictions for the future of HR and technology.  You can hear my predictions on the podcast.  What are yours?

I did a podcast interview with Lance Haun of TLNT.com.  We talked about the book, and why there is a need for a book focused more on the needs of leaders of hourly workforces.  TLNT also published an excerpt of the book if you’d like to get a sneak peek.  TLNT will be publishing additional excerpts in coming weeks.

We’ve had a few requests from college and university professors who teach HR programs, so stay tuned for the book to show up in a curriculum near you.

If you do read the book, please let me know what you think.  If you want to see more content like this from the Workforce Institute, let us know what other topics you’d like us to dig in to.
