ABOUT US
The Workforce Institute is a think tank that helps organizations drive performance by addressing human capital management issues that affect both hourly and salaried employees. Through education and research, we empower organizations with practical ideas for optimizing the 21st century workplace.
An advisory board of academics, visionaries, and practitioners spearheads the initiatives of the Workforce Institute. See the latest additions to the board.
Our Goals
- provide innovative and valued content
- help employers provide employees with a better experience at work
- elevate organizational perception of the importance of the hourly workforce to organizational success
- demonstrate measurable business impact for organizations who implement best practice recommendations
Research
Our research will address issues impacting the entire workforce, both hourly and salaried employees. Increasing global competition, the evolution of the workforce, and the changing dynamics of the workplace make this broad view imperative and timely.
Our focus for 2009 is on building a retention strategy for hourly workers, an initiative that we launched last year. To learn more, see the press release, “Workforce Institute Announces New Board of Advisors Members; Unveils Research Focus for 2008″.
